Daniel Avila is a mixing and mastering engineer, producer, and creative lead with over a decade of experience shaping releases from initial demos to final DSP delivery. At Sony Music Entertainment, he led immersive and stereo mastering efforts for hundreds of projects, collaborating directly with A&R teams, artists, and management to bring creative campaigns to life. His credits include work with Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, Tate McRae, Kygo, Justin Timberlake, and Leon Bridges, spanning new releases, archival restorations, and mood-driven catalog initiatives.
Daniel is the co-founder of Zero Daze Productions, a production company that makes branded original music and visual content. He also runs Wake The Dead, a production and recording studio based in New York City. His work is defined by sonic precision, emotional clarity, and a deep understanding of how to support artists through the full arc of production; from creative development to technical delivery.
